The man suspected of sexually assaulting an 11-year-old girl is described as a black man with a Caribbean accent, who appears to be about 30-years-old. He is about 5'10" and weighs about 200 lbs. Police are seeking public assistance in identifying a man they believe sexually assaulted an 11-year-old girl.

According to cops, the man approached the girl on July 11 at 7:50 a.m. inside the premises of the Kingsborough Houses, located at 1880 Pacific Street in Crown Heights.

He held the girl at gunpoint inside an elevator and sexually assaulted her.

The suspect is described as a black man with a Caribbean accent, who appears to be about 30-years-old. He is about 5'10" and weighs about 200 lbs.

He was last seen wearing a brown and white strips shirt, blue jeans and a leather baseball cap.

The Kingsborough Houses is a complex of 16 six-story apartment buildings with 1,148 units housing 2,362 persons, according to the New York City housing Authority.
