A livery cab driver is in critical condition after being shot three times while on-duty Sunday night.

According to the New York State Federation of Taxi Drivers, 42-year-old Dame Ndiaje was shot outside 1373 Pacific St. in the Crown Heights section of Brooklyn at about 10:30 p.m.

While the incident is still being investigated, a Federation spokesperson believes Ndiaje was shot after attempting to pick up an illegal street hail.

Police are still investigating the shooting.

Ndiaje reportedly becomes the third livery cab driver attacked while on duty this month. The two other attacks left one driver dead and another severely injured.

Anyone with information on Sunday night's incident is urged to call police.
