A bus collided with a truck, flipping it over and sending the bus into the side of a building on the intersection of Ocean Ave and Avenue J in Brooklyn Monday.

A spectacular crash involving a truck and a city bus ended in the near destruction of a city block but fortunately with no serious injuries.
The incident unraveled Monday morning in the Midwood
section of Brooklyn. Authorities said the bus collided with a truck, flipping it over and sending the bus into the side of a building on the intersection of Ocean Ave and Avenue J.
The truck driver reportedly ran a red light on Avenue J when it careened with the bus which was traveling south on Ocean Ave.
Of those injured included 12 passengers, who all reported minor injuries. No injuries were deemed serious.
It wasn't immediately clear the cost of damage done to the city block as a result of the accident. It wasn't immediately known if the truck driver was fined.
