Rain possible Friday afternoon and evening

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible Friday afternoon, with a high in the upper 80s, according to the National Weather Service.

The weather service predicted a 40 percent chance of rain. The chances for rain increase past 3 p.m. and into the evening. The rest of the day will be mostly cloudy.

There will also be a chance of rain on Saturday, with a high of around 80 degrees. Sunday is expected to clear, with mostly sunny skies and a high near 80.

It is also expected to be clear early next week, with highs around 80 degrees and lows around 60 degrees.
