Rainy and warm on Wednesday

Wednesday is expected to be rainy and warm, with showers and thunderstorms becoming more likely after 2 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Some isolated showers could arrive between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., with about a 60 percent chance of rain in the afternoon. It is expected to be mostly cloudy and breezy with a high near 88.

More showers and thunderstorms are expected overnight, with heavy rainfall possible. There is a small chance the rain will continue into Thursday morning. Thursday is also expected to be in the high 80s.

Forecasters said Friday will be sunny and in the upper 80s, but some showers could return over the weekend and into early next week. Highs will be in the upper 80s throughout the weekend.
