Atlas, Boreas, Cleon
Atlas, one of the Titans, was famously punished by the Olympians, ordered to carry the Earth on his shoulders. That's where we get the name for our books of maps. After Atlas comes Boreas, Greek god of the cold north wind, appropriately enough; and Cleon, a Greek statesman and warrior. (Picasa ., /February 10, 2009)
This week's high temperatures in Baltimore will continue under mostly sunny skies on Thursday, with highs reaching into the mid-80s, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures will drop into the lower 60s overnight, but will likely rise back into the lower 80s on Friday, as a partly sunny morning will make way to more clouds as the day progresses, the weather service said.
Saturday is expected to be mostly sunny, in the mid-80s, while Sunday is expected to be partly sunny with similar temperatures.
There is a chance of showers Sunday night, and high temperatures on Monday will likely remain in the upper 70s, the weather service said.
