The National Weather Service is calling for Thursday to be sunny, with a high near 48 and northeast winds around 7 miles per hour.
A small craft advisory is in effect until late Thursday afternoon for portions of the Maryland Chesapeake Bay and the tidal Potomac River.
Thursday night is expected to be clear, with a low around 38 and northeast winds around 6 miles per hour becoming westerly after midnight.
Friday is expected to be sunny, with a high near 52 and west winds 5 to 9 miles per hour.
