Wednesday forecast: Mostly sunny, high near 48

The National Weather Service is calling for Wednesday to be mostly sunny in the Baltimore area, with a high near 48 and north winds around 9 miles per hour.

A small craft advisory is in effect until 11 a.m. Wednesday for the Maryland Chesapeake Bay south of North Beach and the lower tidal Potomac River. A small craft advisory will go into effect at midnight for the Maryland Chesapeake Bay south of Sandy Point and the lower tidal Potomac River.

Wednesday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 37 and north winds around 5 to 7 miles per hour after midnight.

Thursday is expected to be sunny, with a high near 49 and north winds 3 to 7 miles per hour.

Thursday night is expected to be clear, with a low around 29 and calm winds.
