Tuesday forecast: Partly sunny, morning fog, high near 65

The National Weather Service is calling for Tuesday to be partly sunny in the Baltimore area, with patchy fog before 9 a.m., a high near 65 and south winds 5 to 7 miles per hour in the morning.

Tuesday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 50 and south winds 6 to 9 miles per hour, becoming westerly after midnight. There is a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 4 a.m.

A small craft advisory is in effect Tuesday night for the lower Maryland Chesapeake Bay and the lower tidal Potomac River.

Wednesday is expected to start out mostly cloudy and gradually become sunny, with a high near 59 and northwest winds 11 to 14 miles per hour.

Wednesday night is expected to be clear, with a low around 35 and north winds 7 to 14 miles per hour.
