Wednesday forecast: Clouds then sun, high near 46

The National Weather Service is calling for Wednesday to start mostly cloudy and then turn sunny, with a high near 46 and west winds 5 to 11 miles per hour.

A small craft advisory is in effect from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Wednesday for the Maryland Chesapeake Bay and the tidal Potomac River.

Wednesday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 33 and west winds 5 to 7 miles per hour.

Thursday is expected to be mostly sunny, with a high near 48 and west winds 5 to 8 miles per hour.

Thursday night is expected to be mostly clear, with a low around 36 and southwest winds around 5 miles per hour or less.
