Monday forecast: Mostly sunny, high near 49

The National Weather Service is calling for Monday to be mostly sunny in the Baltimore area, with a high near 49 and west winds 5 to 7 miles per hour.

Monday night is expected to be increasingly cloudy, with a low around 38 and light winds. There is a 60 percent chance of precipitation, most likely after 3 a.m.

Tuesday is expected to be rainy, with a high near 43 and east winds 5 to 8 miles per hour, becoming northerly in the afternoon. There is an 80 percent chance of precipitation.

Tuesday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 35 and northwest winds around 6 miles per hour.
