Monday forecast: Patchy fog then sun, high near 53

The National Weather Service is calling for Monday to be mostly sunny in the Baltimore area, with patchy fog before 8 a.m., a high near 53 and northwest winds 6 to 9 miles per hour.

A small craft advisory is in effect through Monday evening for parts of the Maryland Chesapeake Bay. A small craft advisory is in effect overnight for the lower tidal Potomac River.

Monday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 45 and north winds 5 to 8 miles per hour.

Tuesday is expected to be partly sunny, with a nigh near 55 and northeast winds around 8 miles per hour.

Tuesday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 42 and north winds around 5 miles per hour after midnight.
