A small craft advisory is in effect through Wednesday afternoon for the Maryland Chesapeake Bay and the tidal Potomac River.
Thursday is expected to be sunny, with a high near 94 and west winds between 5 and 9 miles per hour.
Thursday night is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a low around 78 and southwest winds between 3 and 7 miles per hour.
