The National Weather Service is calling for Wednesday to be mostly cloudy in the Baltimore area, with a high near 76 and light winds. There is a 40 percent chance of precipitation -- isolated showers in the morning and showers and thunderstorms after noon.
A coastal flood warning and coastal flood advisory are in effect through Wednesday afternoon for the Maryland Chesapeake Bay and the tidal Potomac River. Minor coastal flooding also will be possible during the afternoon and evening high tide.
Thursday is expected to be partly sunny, with a high near 83 and west winds around 8 miles per hour. There is a 30 percent chance of precipitation after 3 p.m.
Thursday night is expected to be partly cloudy, with a low around 64 and northwest winds between 3 and 6 miles per hour. There is a 30 percent chance of precipitation.
