A severe thunderstorm could bring wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour and quarter-sized hail this afternoon in the Baltimore area, the National Weather Service warned.
The thunderstorm was moving east from Cockeysville and was expected to hit areas including Baltimore, Timonium and Bel Air. The NWS issued a severe thunderstorm warning at 1:20 p.m. that will expire at 2:15 p.m.
