Flash flood watch expected tonight into Monday

A flash flood watch for Baltimore and neighboring counties will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday evening and continue through late Monday night.

Areas affected will include Baltimore city and county, and Harford, Howard, Prince George's and Montgomery counties.

According to the NWS, showers and thunderstorms are likely in the afternoon. Overall, the chance of rain is 70 percent.

Tonight, there will be showers and thunderstorms, some producing heavy rainfall, with the chance of rain being 90 percent. Some areas are also expected to have fog after midnight, according to the NWS. Rain is expected to continue into Monday.
