A blustery day is forecast in the Baltimore area Wednesday with wind chills making temperatures rarely feel warmer than the mid-20s, according to the National Weather Service.
A 15-20 mph breeze is expected, with gusts of 30-35 mph. Temperatures are expected to start around freezing and not rise much higher, only to the upper 30s. The wind should make it feel 10 degrees colder.
Partly to mostly cloudy skies are forecast for the day, clearing overnight into Thursday. Lows Wednesday night are expected in the mid-20s with wind chills in the mid-teens.
The winds are expected to continue into Thursday but to decrease to about 15-25 mph. Highs are forecast in the upper 30s again, still with wind chills in the mid-20s. Clear, sunny skies are expected.
A period of precipitation is forecast to arrive Friday and continue into Saturday. It could start as a wintry mix but then is expected to be a cold rain, with highs Friday and Saturday in the upper 30s and lower 40s.Copyright © 2015, The Baltimore Sun
