This weekend's warm up could be enough to threaten a record by Monday, with temperatures expected to near 90 degrees.

AccuWeather is calling for 90 degrees Monday, which would be enough to tie a record set in 2002. The National Weather Service had been predicting the low-80s for Monday as recently as a day ago, but now the forecast is calling for the mid-80s. Obviously, things could change in four days.

Regardless, 90-degree temperatures would be a first for Baltimore in 2012 despite the mid-March wave of warmth.

It would be one of the earliest 90-degree marks for Baltimore -- temperatures hit 90 on March 29, 1945, the earliest on record. Five days between April 1 and April 15 have records of 90 degrees or more.

Sunday, AccuWeather's forecast of 86 degrees would get close to the record of 88, set in 1941. The National Weather Service is calling for highs in the low 80s.
