The sun sets over Baltimore's Basilica of the Assumption.
(Scott Dance | The Baltimore Sun / December 6, 2012)
Tuesday brings the year’s last sunset at 7 p.m. or later in Baltimore, and sunrise will soon arrive later than 7 a.m., as well.
Sunset is at about 7:01 p.m. tonight, and about 7 p.m. Tuesday, while sunrise shifts a minute or so later each morning, too, for about two and a half minutes less daylight each day.
Sunset spends October moving earlier through the 6 p.m. hour until the end of daylight savings warps it to about 5 p.m. Nov. 3.
