Sunshine, highs in upper 60s forecast Monday

Clear, sunny skies and highs in the upper 60s are forecast Monday in the Baltimore area.

A chilly start to the day was expected, with lows in the mid-40s in the suburbs and around 50 degrees in Baltimore City.

A frost advisory was in effect from 2 a.m. through 9 a.m. in Carroll and Frederick counties and Western Maryland, with lows from 33 degrees to 36 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

Showers are possible as a front passes through Tuesday and Wednesday, with lows in the 40s and 50s and highs in the lower 60s Tuesday.

Beyond that, chilly temperatures are ahead, remaining below 60 degrees Wednesday through at least Friday. Lows are forecast in the upper 30s, and could reach the lower 30s Friday. Highs are forecast in the 50s.
