Sunshine, highs in mid-80s forecast Wednesday

Warmth will increase across the Baltimore area Wednesday with sunny skies and highs in the mid-80s.

Overnight lows were forecast in the mid-60s downtown, and the upper 50s in the suburbs. With mostly sunny skies, temperatures were forecast to rise well above normal in the afternoon. Normal highs this time of year are in the upper 60s.

Clouds are expected to increase Thursday and Friday, with lows in the upper 50s and lower 60s and highs in the lower 80s.

Sunshine and highs in the lower 80s are forecast to start the weekend Saturday, with highs dropping to the upper 70s and a chance of rain Sunday.
