Clear skies and sunshine with temperatures in the 80s are forecast Tuesday.
An unseasonably chilly morning was expected, with lows in the mid-60s in the city and the lower 60s and upper 50s outside the city. Sunshine was expected to bring temperatures into the 80s by midday.
Humidity and temperatures are forecast to increase Wednesday, possibly for the region's first day to hit the 90s this August. Highs are forecast in the lower 90s, with slight storm chances in the afternoon and evening.
