Sunshine with low humidity and highs in the lower 80s are forecast Thursday, starting a stretch of pleasant weather lasting into the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.
Overnight lows were forecast in the mid- to upper 60s. Calm winds were expected throughout the day. Dew points are forecast in the 50s, a comfortable level.
More tranquil weather is forecast Friday and into the weekend, with highs in the mid-80s, lows in the upper 60s, sunny skies and calm winds.
Sunday was expected to bring a return to heat and humidity. Highs are forecast around 90 degrees Sunday and Monday, with some clouds and dew points in the mid- to upper-60s.
