Sunshine, highs in lower 60s forecast Wednesday

Clear, sunny skies, breezy conditions and temperatures reaching the lower 60s are forecast in the Baltimore area Wednesday.

Overnight lows were expected in the upper 40s, reaching the upper 50s by midday and lower 60s by the late afternoon.

A northwest wind of 15-25 mph is expected through the evening.

Temperatures could drop into the lower 40s Wednesday night into early Thursday morning, but then a warmup is expected. Highs are forecast in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with lows in the 40s and 50s.

A 50 percent chance of showers is forecast Friday, with clouds lingering Saturday and Sunday. Highs could reach the lower 70s Sunday.
