High pressure is forecast to bring clear, sunny skies with highs in the mid-60s in the Baltimore area Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
After rain and thunderstorms expected overnight, clouds were forecast to clear out by early morning. Overnight lows were expected in the mid- to upper 40s.
Gusty winds are expected to continue into the morning hours, with 10-15 mph breezes and 20 mph gusts. Winds are forecast to die down by midday.
Clear skies are forecast to extend into the weekend, with highs in the upper 60s Friday and the mid-70s Saturday and Sunday. Some clouds could start moving in Sunday into Monday.
Overnight lows are forecast in the 50s through the weekend.
