Rain, highs in mid-50s forecast Monday

Steady rain is forecast for much of the day Monday, with highs in the mid-50s.

The morning was expected to start off in the low- to mid-40s. Rain is forecast to reach the area by midday, bringing with it winds of 10-15 mph and gusts up to 25 mph.

A slight chance of thunderstorms is forecast in the afternoon.

As much as an inch of rain was expected to fall.

Lows were forecast around 50 degrees Monday night into Tuesday morning, with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the mid-60s Tuesday. Blustery winds were expected to continue Tuesday and Wednesday.

Highs Wednesday are forecast around 60 degrees, with lows dropping into the mid-30s overnight Wednesday into Thursday.

Sunny skies and highs in the upper 60s are expected Thursday, with clouds and highs in the lower 70s Friday.
