A surge of heat and humidity is forecast to start the work week, with highs in the upper 80s, partly cloudy skies and increasing humidity Monday.
Mild overnight lows in the 60s were forecast, with a slight southerly breeze bringing warm and moist air into the region throughout the day.
There is a chance of isolated storms late Monday night, with temperatures again dropping only into the 60s.
Tuesday is forecast to bring uncomfortable humidity and highs again in the upper 80s. Thunderstorms are possible Tuesday afternoon and evening.
