Mild temperatures are in the forecast for Friday across the Baltimore area, good for enjoying a long weekend or a start to holiday shopping.
Temperatures could break 60 degrees after nearing that mark for the past two days. Skies should be sunny to start the day with clouds moving in over the afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
A coastal flood advisory is in effect for tidal areas of Harford, Baltimore and Anne Arundel counties, with high tides expected to reach about 1.5 feet above normal.
The warmth won't last much longer. Saturday is expected to be cold and windy, never rising far above overnight lows expected in the mid-40s. With the wind chill, it's forecast to feel below freezing by sundown Saturday.
Weather is expected to remain dry until some rain chances Tuesday and Wednesday.
