Muggy air, cloudy skies forecast Monday

High temperatures are forecast in the lower 80s Monday, but high humidity will make it feel hotter and uncomfortable to start off a muggy week.

Mostly cloudy skies are forecast throughout the day. Isolated thunderstorms are possible in the afternoon hours. Dew points are forecast in the mid- to upper-60s, making the air feel moist and uncomfortable.

Both temperatures and humidity are forecast to increase through the week. Highs Tuesday are forecast in the upper 80s, with dew points in the upper 60s to around 70 degrees.

Storms are possible Wednesday with highs close to 90 degrees and dew points in the lower 70s.

Storms are likely Thursday as a front moves through to reduce humidity and temperatures Friday into the weekend, with highs Thursday in the mid-80s.
