Mostly cloudy, highs in upper 70s Monday

Mostly cloudy skies and high temperatures in the upper 70s are forecast Monday before a cold front brings storms and possible freezing temperatures Tuesday and Wednesday.

A mild morning was expected, with overnight lows in the 50s and lower 60s. A southerly wind reaching 15-25 mph by midday is expected to bring temperatures to the mid-70s by midday.

A slight chance of thunderstorms is forecast Monday night into Tuesday, with storm chances lasting through Tuesday afternoon. Winds of 15-25 mph are expected Tuesday.

Highs are forecast in the upper 60s Tuesday, but after the storms clear out, temperatures could drop to the mid-30s or colder overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.

Clear, sunny skies are forecast Wednesday with highs around 50 degrees and lows again in the mid-30s Wednesday night into Thursday.

Highs could reach 60 Thursday and Friday.
