Mostly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 70s are forecast Thursday in the Baltimore area, with showers likely overnight into Friday.

Lows Thursday morning were forecast in the upper 50s and lower 60s. 

A 70 percent chance of rain is expected after 6 p.m., most likely in the late evening hours.

Beyond the rain and clouds, clearing and cooler temperatures are expected Friday into the weekend.

Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies are forecast Friday through Monday. Highs are forecast in the mid- to upper-60s, with lows in the 40s. Temperatures could fall to the lower 40s, the lowest to date this autumn, on Sunday and Monday mornings.
