Highs are forecast in the mid-60s for Baltimore on Monday, with mostly sunny skies and strong winds from the west, according to the National Weather Service.
A "red flag" warning is in effect for the region from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. for an elevated fire risk posed by dry conditions and gusty winds. Winds of 15 mph to 25 mph are expected, with gusts up to 35 mph.
Winds will begin to dissipate around midnight, with lows in the lower 40s in the suburbs and mid-40s in Baltimore City. There is a 30 percent chance of showers in the evening.
Highs are expected in the upper 50s Tuesday with gusty winds again.
