Highs in the upper 80s and strong humidity are expected to make it feel like the 90s in the Baltimore area Wednesday, also bringing chances for thunderstorms.
Temperatures are forecast to approach 90 degrees downtown while dew points are in the lower 70s, an oppressive level, making it feel as hot as the mid-90s.
About a 50 percent chance of storms is expected from the early morning through the evening.
Thursday, skies are forecast to gradually clear out, though humidity and temperatures are forecast to remain high, with highs around 90 degrees.
