Storm chances are expected to begin Thursday night and extend into Friday afternoon and evening. A flash flood watch is in effect across Central Maryland, with 2-3 inches of rain possible.
Highs Friday are forecast in the mid-70s.
Dry, cooler weather is forecast for the weekend, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 70s Saturday and upper 60s Sunday.
