Cooler, drier air moves in Friday with highs around 80

The front of cool, dry air that helped spawn Thursday's storms means more seasonable weather in the Baltimore area Friday, with highs around 80 degrees.

Humidity is forecast at lower -- and falling -- levels for the end of the week and into the weekend. Dew points are forecast to drop from the lower 60s in the early morning to the 40s by the evening.

Gusty winds are expected throughout the day, with 15-20 mph breezes. Skies are forecast to be mostly cloudy.

By the weekend, the weather is forecast to be calm and fall-like. Highs Saturday are forecast in the lower 70s with sunny skies, calm winds and low humidity. Sunday could reach the upper 70s.

Overnight lows are forecast in the 50s, with the 40s possible in rural areas.

Seasonable temperatures and sunny skies are forecast into next week.
