A frost advisory was in effect for outlying Baltimore suburbs Monday morning, with partly cloudy skies and highs in the upper 50s later in the day, according to the National Weather Service.
Overnight lows were expected in the lower to mid-30s in Howard, Carroll, northern Baltimore and Harford counties. The frost advisory was in effect from 3 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Lows were expected in the lower 40s in Baltimore and the immediate vicinity.
High pressure is expected to bring sunny to partly cloudy skies throughout the day Monday. A weak low pressure system is forecast to reach the area overnight Monday, with clouds moving in for the evening and a chance of drizzle early Tuesday morning.
Mostly cloudy skies are expected Tuesday with highs nearing 60 degrees.
Highs are forecast in the 60s with lows in the 40s for the rest of the work week, with a cold front bringing thunderstorms and showers Wednesday.
