Cloudy skies, wind chills around freezing forecast Tuesday

Temperatures are forecast to near 40 degrees Tuesday afternoon, but with cloudy skies and 10-15 mph winds it was expected to feel closer to freezing.

Overnight lows were expected in the upper 20s. Winds were expected from the northeast, making it feel like the lower 20s in the morning to the lower 30s by the afternoon and evening.

Temperatures were forecast to drop to the lower 30s Tuesday night into Wednesday, with highs Wednesday in the upper 40s. Cloudy skies were again expected throughout the day, with a 50 percent chance of showers in the afternoon and evening.

Thursday was expected to start off in the upper 30s and reach the mid-50s, with mostly sunny skies and some gusty winds.

Friday could bring more sunshine and highs in the upper 50s before another chance for showers Saturday.
