Clouds, storm chances in beach weekend forecast

It could be tough to get in a good beach day in Ocean City this weekend, with clouds and storm chances in the forecast.

Partly cloudy skies could start off the day Saturday, but clouds are expected to increase in the afternoon, bringing about a 30 percent chance of showers and storms through the evening. Highs are forecast in the upper 70s.

Storm chances are expected to continue into Sunday morning, with overcast skies. More slight storm chances are possible Sunday night. Highs Sunday are again forecast in the upper 70s.

The water temperature is a comfortable 69 to 73 degrees. Rip current risks were low on Friday.
