Clouds, highs in lower 70s Friday with showers late

Mostly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 70s are forecast Friday, with rain showers likely in the late evening hours.

A mild morning with lows in the 50s was expected, with temperatures reaching the mid-60s by midday.

Southwest winds of 10-15 mph are forecast throughout the day, creating an enhanced threat for wildfires around the region.

A beautiful spring weekend is expected, with partly cloudy skies and highs around 70 degrees Saturday and in the upper 70s Sunday. Lows are forecast in the 50s and 60s.

Temperatures could reach the mid-70s Monday before a front brings rain Tuesday and drops temperatures into the upper 30s by early Wednesday morning.
