Chance of showers, temperatures in 60s forecast Friday

Clouds are expected to remain over the area with chances for showers Friday, with temperatures in the 60s in the Baltimore area, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures are forecast to fall throughout the day, from the upper 60s in the morning to the 50s by late Friday night. Storms that were expected to pass through overnight as a cold front approaches should meanwhile bring a drop in humidity.

Gusty winds are expected throughout the day, with 15-20 mph breezes and up to 30 mph gusts.

Skies should clear out somewhat over the weekend. Partly cloudy skies are expected Saturday and Sunday, turning mostly sunny Monday to end the holiday weekend.

Highs are forecast around 70 degrees Saturday and Sunday, reaching the mid-70s Monday.
