August's first 90-degree day forecast Wednesday

Temperatures could break into the 90s for the first time this month Wednesday under sunny skies.

Highs are forecast in the lower 90s, and humidity is also forecast to rise, reaching moderately uncomfortable levels. Temperatures have not reached the 90-degree mark at Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport, the point of record for Baltimore, since July 23.

Mostly sunny skies are forecast for much of the day, with some clouds possible in the afternoon.

Temperatures and humidity are forecast to fall again Thursday, with highs in the mid-80s and more sunshine.

Partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 80s are forecast Friday.
