High humidity is forecast to bring the heat index into the 90s with continued storm chances on Friday in the Baltimore area.
High temperatures are forecast in the upper 80s. With dew points in the lower 70s, among the highest of the summer, the air is expected to feel as hot as the mid-90s.
A 60-70 percent chance of storms is expected, with isolated heavy downpours possible.
Saturday, humidity and storm chances are forecast to drop but not disappear. Highs are forecast in the upper 80s with about 30 percent chances of isolated storms.
Sunday into the beginning of next week, drier air is expected, with highs in the mid-80s.
