More humidity is forecast Tuesday with highs in the mid-80s and chances for afternoon thunderstorms.
A mild morning was expected, with overnight lows in the upper 60s and dew points in the lower 60s.
Dew points are forecast in the mid-60s by the afternoon, an uncomfortable level that feels muggy and sticky to most people. That could help fuel thunderstorms in the afternoon hours, with rain showers possible overnight.
Cooler air is expected to move in by Wednesday, with highs in the lower 70s and more chances for showers.
Temperatures could surge back into the lower 80s Thursday, with thunderstorm chances likely from the evening into Friday afternoon. Highs are forecast in the upper 60s Friday.
Partly cloudy skies, calm winds and highs around 70 degrees are expected Saturday for the Preakness Stakes.
