( Kenneth K. Lam, Baltimore Sun / January 31, 2013 ) Anne Arundel Police recovered the body of a drowning victim, center, at the Fort Meade Road (Rt. 198) overpass at the Patuxent River. Authorities opened the flood gates at the Rocky Gorge Dam to release high water down stream to the Patuxent River. Last night's heavy rain storm created the threat of flood and caused the evacuation of businesses and homes in the Historic District of Laurel. |
