Mother's Day forecast: Cloudy with a chance of rain

If you're planning anyMother's Daypicnics, walks or al fresco brunches, might want to consider making them for Saturday rather than the actual holiday.

Saturday is forecast to be clear and sunny, by all accounts, including the National Weather Service and AccuWeather. Highs are expected in the mid-70s.

But forecasters are mixed on the weather for Mother's Day. A front is expected to move clouds and rain into the region; the question is when.

The National Weather Service is calling for clouds and a 30 percent chance of showers Sunday, while AccuWeather is expecting partly sunny skies with a chance of thunderstorms moving in Monday.

Keep an eye on the forecast to see how things develop.
