( Kim Hairston, Baltimore Sun / January 12, 2013 ) Robin Deere, Bel Air, and her children, left to right, Mina Deere, 7, Philip Deere, 3, and, obscured, Lilly Deere, 5, visit Chimpanzee Forest. The chimps are in the outside enclosure enjoying an unseasonably warm Saturday at the Maryland Zoo in Baltimore. Robin says "I learned that the winter is the best time to come (to the zoo) because the animals are a lot more active." |
