Democratic Senate candidate and former Virginia Governor Tim Kaine is criticizing Paul Ryan's plans for Medicare.
He says it would be bad for seniors.
"Paul Ryan's budget proposes a dramatic change to Medicare that would push tons of costs onto the shoulders of vulnerable seniors," said Kaine, the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate. "George Allen praises the plan. I would fight against it. We can reduce costs in Medicare, but we shouldn't be pushing costs onto our seniors' shoulders."
Kaine went on to say that Ryan's plans for Social Security would also be bad for seniors.
