Hundreds of low income families in Danville now have something less to worry about; food on their table.
This morning nearly 400 cars lined up at God's Storehouse in Danville to get two cases of drinks, a box of food and a box of person hygiene products.
All this was provided by Feed the Children and God's Pit Crew.
A truck load of boxes came from Oklahoma just for this event.
Families are just thankful for the relief.
"Well it would be a lot harder with the way the economy is today and my wife doesn't work so I really helps out a lot," said Russell Mayhew, a man who picked up boxes for his family.
Organizers say the large turnout was expected.
To qualify families had to have a child under 18 and be active with God's Storehouse.
