Bedford Christmas Parade

Time/location: 12 p.m. Saturday, December 3. The rain date will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, December 4.

Parade route: The parade starts at Peaks Street from College Street to North Bridge Street to East Main Street to Washington Street to Center Street, West Main to 4th Street to Macon Street to Summit Street to the entrance to the Winin Dixie Parking Lot.

Blacksburg Christmas Parade

Time/location: 7 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2011 in downtown Blacksburg. Rain date Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 1pm

4-7 pm: Holiday Gift Market, Market Square Park

4-5:30 pm: Pictures with Santa at The Lyric Theatre (bring your own camera)

5:30 pm: Tree lighting and music provided by Downtown Blacksburg, Inc.

6 pm: TubaChristmas, Market Square Park.

Buena Vista Christmas Parade

Additional information: Bring your family and friends out for 'A Christmas to Remember.' This annual downtown Christmas Parade features nearly 100 floats and entries.

Clifton Forge Holiday Parade

Time/location: 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2. Parade begins at the intersection of Ridgeway and Roxbury Streets.

Christiansburg Christmas Parade

Time/location: 7 p.m. Friday, December 9th on Main Street in downtown Christiansburg. Inclement weather date: Monday, December 12th at 7pm (in case of inclement weather, the decision will be made by noon on December 9th to postpone the parade).

Additional info: Come out and support your community organizations, businesses, churches, clubs, schools, troops and heroes. 

Craig County Christmas Parade

Time/location: 2 p.m. Saturday, December 3. The parade starts on court street.

Additional info: Everyone is welcome. There will be lots of floats, firetrucks, clowns and candy from the Fairgrounds to the Courthouse. You can have your picture taken with Santa at Locust Mountain Grill.

Danville Christmas Parade

Time/location: 6 p.m. Saturday, December 10. The parade starts at Main and Ridge Streets and ends at the Community Market on Craghead Street.

Max Meadows Christmas Parade

Time/location: 1 p.m. Saturday, December 3. The parade lineup is at Max Meadows Elementary School.

Additional info: The parade will have old tractors, antique vehicles, fire trucks, police and the Fort Chiswell High School Band.

Millboro Volutneer Fire Department Christmas Parade

3 p.m. Dec. 11. Santa will be at the fire house after the parade.

Pearisburg Christmas Parade
4 p.m. Dec. 4. Line up will be on Mt. Lake Ave. Parade will follow Main St. to Wenonah Ave., Wenonah Ave. to French St., and end on Mt. Lake Ave.


Pulaski Christmas Parade

Time/location: 7 p.m. Thursday, December 1. Tree lighting starts at 5:30 p.m. in Jackson Park.


Radford Christmas Parade

Time/location: 4 p.m., Saturday Dec. 3.

Roanoke City Christmas Parade

Time/location: 6:30 p.m. December 9. The parade starts at the intersection of Elm Avenue and Jefferson Street. It continues north on Jefferson Street to Campbell Avenue, then east on Campbell to Market Square.

Additional information: Costumed characters, horse drawn carriages, strolling carolers, marching bands, jugglers, and numerous community groups all highlighting various holiday traditions.


Rocky Mount Christmas Parade

Time/location: 3 p.m. December 4. Lineup starts at 1:30 p.m. on Tanyard Road.

Additional information: This year's theme is "Peace."


Salem Christmas Parade

Time/location: 6:30 p.m. Friday, December 2 at the intersection of Main and Broad Streets.

Additional information: More than 100 marching bands and other units, including nine bands and Saunta Claus. Handicapped access and public transportation available.
