Some middle and high school students stepped into a Harry Potter world to learn about medicine and science in Blacksburg on Wednesday.
The mini med school was put on by faculty and students from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine and instructors were all dressed up for the occasion in their best Harry Potter attire.
Kids, ages 11 through 15, took part in the traveling exhibit.
It provided information on important health topics like the dangers of drugs, alcohol and smoking as well as HIV and STD's.
VCOM has put on similar mini med schools for the past three years.
